  • Clutch opening too far?

so, went for a ride in my Argo today and notice that the engine felt...odd. when I had a look the clutch seems to be opening a lot further at idle than it used to.
does anyone know anything about this and is it a normal thing?

By opening I assume you mean spread apart? Is your belt wore. Check out the driven clutch and make sure the belts outside edge is lined up with the outside edge of the pulley sheaves. If its wore it will be sunken in the driven pulley.

It's possible that the snapring holding the driven together has let loose or the buttons on the ramps are broken. If it's the engine or drive clutch that's another story.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.
