Help please older chapparal

Hi hoping somebody can help me I have a 1972 chapparal with old style t20 I cannot find how to adjust it i can only find the newer style with the channel on the plungers mine has just straight bars on the plungers it goes forward fine but will only turn if I stop and pull the levers when I am moving I can pull all the way back and nothing Thanks I need it for opening hunting season this weekend! (In minnesota anyways)

The procedure is very similar, but less of a pain. You can remove the pins that hold the Popsicle sticks to the o bolts by removing the c-clip. Then just turn the o-bolt and pop the pins back in with the Popsicle sticks. Make sure to use new c-clips or bolts with lock nuts. Used c-clips tend to not hold and I have even had new ones that sprung on me during installation.
