Im looking at a comet 780 driven clutch, thinking about buying it. It has a grey spring, and i cant find any info on this color spring. Anybody know anything about it?

went ahead and bought it, figure that the worse case scenario ill just change the spring. But Ive looked all over gods creation, and cant find any info on a grey (or maybe its natural steel) spring."coming through like a herd of turtles"Comment

What is there colour ??
There are different springs of the same **colour** depending on the generation of clutch .
Generation of clutch canbe determined by the slipper pad colour and quantity .
