My max iv intermittantly gives me trouble when shifting from reverse to forward. Sometimes you have to shake the vehicle before it will go in. Anybody have any ideas? Is this an easy fix?

It's very common to rock a t20 to shift it. Don't let it grind going into forward or reverse. The sticks have to be held back about 3-4 inches into the neutral position to shift. With time shifting becomes second nature. From forward to reverse I shift with sticks held back to neutral just as I'm coming to a stop. He vehicle seams to settle back at stop and shifting can be done with just your fingers. Don't force the lever or grind if at all possible. You can put transmission in neutral and raise engine speed to rotate internal components , release throttle , pull sticks back 1/2 way and then shift gently. Grinding or forcing into gear can damage some very expensive parts. Also if the main chains from transmission to rear axle are over tight the shift collars inside will be in a bind. Good luck practice helps a bunch
