  • Rebuild clutches before a problem?

My conquest has about 175 hours and I am wondering if it s a good idea to take the clutches apart replace the bushing and nylon shoes and clean everything? Everything seems to be running fine. I do no notice that the clutch seems to sound a little like a diesel when it first starts, kind of like a weigh goes out than lightly bangs back in. Nothing terrible sounding but thought it might need this? I would probably also replace the springs since they are pretty cheap.

It's not going to hurt anything to rebuild it but I don't think it's necessary with that low of hours unless you see some major wear. A good cleaning and inspection is probably all you need.
