  • IBC Clutch puller

I have an IBC clutch on a 16hp Vanguard.

Does anyone know what puller you need to pull an IBC clutch?

Is this just a 1" diameter keyed shaft on the Vanguard George? For the two stroke tapered clutches. I typically just carry an assortment of bolts that match the different clutch threads and different length steel rods to tighten down against. I've not had a keyed-shaft-clutch need a puller yet, but I know they can tighten up with dirt/moisture exposure.

I believe it is a 1" keyed shaft. I bought the engine with the clutch already on it.

Can you bring a variety of bolts with you?

Absolutely..... I'll check my IBC to verify the right bolt... And some rod, and a hacksaw.

Believe it was racerone3 who had shown a homemade remover just using 4 wooden wedges/ shims. Looked like a good idea.

          Wrong on that, was bbass

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
          Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
