T20 input shaft locks up

Hi.
I resealed my T20. I put everything back together, and now the input shaft locks up, as soon as I tighten the bolts that hold the two halfs together...
I checked everything again, but can't find anything wrong. Any suggestions?

Are you sure the center support washers have the tang in place. If you don't have the type with tanged washers it's usually a washer out of place in the planet gears. The case should go together and leave the input shaft with .010-.030" end play.

Some of the older T-20s did not use the fiber thrust washers. Adding those if they weren't originally in the tranny will have the same effect you are describing.

It's working now.
I tightened down all the bolts and put the secondary clutch on the input shaft. I kept turning it, until it was free. Looks like something wasn't lined up. Anywayit seems to be ok now.
