  • Conquest Driven Clutch Adjustment

I am thinking of adjusting the driven clutch on my Conquest. I don't know what adjustment hole in the cam the spring is in, but I am assuming that the dealer in Colorado put it in the #1 position, which is the tightest from what I understand and will give you the most low end.

Since I am running gear reduction tracks, I think I actually what to de-clutch it and go the other way. I found a manual on-line that states there are 6 adjustment holes on the cam.

How much increase or decrease does each adjustment hole give? I just don't know if I should drop it one or two holes. I am also curious what the factory setting is. The manual was a bit confusing and stated that you should put the spring in the #3 hole, but soon after states that the #2 hole is the standard setting.

We climb ALOT of hills and have set our springs in hole # 1, it is fairly easy to change, watch Rock doctor video on this sight for instruction, and move it around and test drive for YOUR conditions. Use anti-seize on the shaft for easy removal.
