Broken shift pin removal!!!

If it's below the surface of the lever I replace the lever and drill the other side making it a lever for the opposite side. If it's flush or sticking up any they can be pulled by welding a threaded piece to the pin. I put a thin washer drilled out to 1/4" over the pin so it dosent weld to the lever. After welding a stud to the pin you need to heat the lever until pin is anealed and no longer brittle. Dull red is usually ok. Use threads on stud to pull the pin. If you try to pull the pins without heat they usually break off just below the surface. It's s lot of work to save a lever and I usually do them when I get a bunch with worn pins to do all at the same time. Good luck. How was the shift collar ?
