Does anyone have literature for the ridgerunner asv I am looking for pictures of how the control cylinders go together. I bought this machine and the cylinders were not assembled right. The year might be 69-74 .

Ok now see those are completely different than the ones in the Muscateer. Those look to be the type that do an overcenter/lock position forward; correct me if I'm wrong.

My cylinders are completely different for the Muscateer.

      Cool.

Maybe the OP could post pics of what he has and we could compare?

Thanks Keith for those great images!

I'm pretty sure that the ridgerunner was the same as a Trailblazer or Newt the Bold. I think they used the over the center locking configuration when the handles were pushed all the way forward.

Not really sure what you are getting at but looks super simple O ring that fits floating piston with 3 grooves and cant tell for sure but O ring or brake cylinder type cup seal on shaft O rings on end fittings and inside end fitting shaft passes through and should be golden....

I got my control cylinders assembled correctly now. The right cylinder bolt was backed off and the cup seal was off the shaft. I figure the last owner didnt get it tight enough. Now the cylinders build pressure but they dont hold.

I just replaced the 0-rings on the floating piston and end cap. The one on the end of the shaft is a square cut seal and I couldnt find one. Since then I went to a hydraulic shop. they said that seal is no longer used and installed a o-ring in its place . they also took out a groove in the bore.
Now I have to assemble the other cyl the same. Its been a learning experience for me.
