hi this is what the bands look like from a t20 that had gear oil in it not sure how long it was in there or if it was run with it in it not sure if I should use them or have them relined should I rinse everything in kerosene or just put back together and fill with trany fluid 030.jpg

Those bands look quite normal to me. I would measure the lining thickness to make sure it is over .020 thick. If any lining is loose or thinner than .020 reline them. I've been deglazing bands for years with a green scotch pad. Just take the shine off them and pick the metal particles out of the surface. The red bands don't delaminate from the metal with gear oil as bad as the older tan ones did. Reline them if you have any doubts and don't want to take it apart again.
