    Old Argo mechical brakes

    Hi all has anyone made mods to the brake system on an older argo (1992 model) as I find mine are needing adjusting all the time due to the bolts holding the brake pads together bending ,I have also broken a brake cam due to having to pull so hard to get the brakes to work and turn the machine ,I have put new brake pads on but it make little difference .

    If your trans is tapped to hold the calipers it is easy enough, just not cheap. If it doesn't it gets more complicated but doable.
    I'm assuming you have an 8 wheeler by the question.

      My Argo is 6x6 vanguard old but low hours (700) the brakes have never been good.
