  • Driven Clutch Spring Backwards??

I'm in the process of trying to get everything adjusted after a frame out restoration on my Max IV and in the long journey of this I thought I might as well take my driven clutch apart and clean the two halves up because they were pretty rusty and plan on replacing once I know everything is working good. So I get it all back together on all seems to be working fine as far as driven opening and closing when throttling up and down but when I test drove this evening it seemed to have no torque so I get to looking at the driven clutch spring which appears to be either green or yellow is possibly in backwards. it seems to be expanding when I twist the sheeves is it possible to have put I backwards?

As stated in previous post it's probably not loaded properly. That moving face fits onto the key, press to where it will just turn and rotate over two bumps and press together. At one bump it will open almost as soon as vehicle moves.

Thanks, I will clock it again, if I remember correctly I only rotated over one "bump" when putting back together.
