Hi, My brother has a 2001 big foot with an 18hp briggs. He would like to have more power. Is there anything he can do with the clutches or any other idia.
    Thank you

Merry Christmast and a happy new to all of you

    Yes.
Search the forum for clutch mods and you will get plenty of info. The primary clutch spring can be shimmed or the weights reduced and the secondary spring can be put in the hole #1 or #2 to get more low end.

I think you'll find the biggest problem is the H transmission pushing 25's.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

pull the muffler off and yank the ring/ restrictor on each cylinder will help, if not done already.

          Hi
You can also install a High Rev kit and offset Keyway. then bypass the governor if wanted for extra PRM's up to 5500. if going that high for to long you will need a new billet flywheel. If staying in the 4200-4400 range should not be a problem.
