T20 bushing removal

I need to replace the large bushing in the case halves. What is the best way to remove the old ones?I hear that whipper knows! Thanks again!!!DSCN0363.jpg

Milling them out is the best way but for the hand tool guy they can be carefully split with a cape chisel. I've done more transmission bushings with a chisel than I can count. Be carefull not to dig into the aluminum case. They need to be bored to fit your drums after installing new. I've had several cases that the bushing bore wasn't true with the output bearing bore. I center up on the output bearing now when fitting bushings. Good luck
