I have an Attex Super Cheif with T20 transmission, the left drive side stopped working, i pulled the transmission, dissassemled and found the clutch drive side T20 sprocket snapped at the shaft. Where can i get a replacement for this? Also should i try to replace the bearing for it? and the oil seal?

If you feel the bearing needs replaced,it too must be purchased from a similar source. A standard bearing will not fit,the T-20's is a different thickness. Good job at getting into the repair. You may want to measure up the bushing inside the case along with the boss on the ring drum and the one in the planet drum along with the boss of the center plate also. This part (output shaft) should not fail under normal operating conditions.
I'll make a parts wanted thread, that's a pretty expensive little shaft there. I havent been able to full dissassemble it i becuase i didnt have snap ring pliers small enough to get the snap ring off below the shifters so i had to order some. I'll post pics of the components to see if theres anything you guys see, i've never had one of these apart so there might be something wrong im not seeing.
I put new drive chains on, everything spins freely, all axle bearins take grease, none got hot while driving. it's only an 18hp vangaurd motor powering it.

Does your attex have the brake rotors mounted on the output sprockets? I have a pair of good sprockets like that. The distance between the bearing and shoulder for sprocket can vary between Attex, some Hustlers andMax. It's enough different to cause chain alignment trouble in some machines. I'll get into my notes and post the dimentions when i can. Whipper is producing output bearings. Not sure he has any left now, $54 a pair last time I checked.

That has to be an old one. I'm adding a pic with the two types of output shaft I've found. If any others are out there let us know! As you can see from pic the shorter one can have the side sprocket installed a lot closer to the case. The longer one is what I find in newer Max T20s. The other is usually hustler or attex, maybe others. If sprockets are installed to close to the case the master link pins can hit the case. The sprockets are no longer available seperatly and must be installed in a jig that stops them true on the shaft. You can install a sprocket on the short shaft where the new ones need to be but I tack weld them. The sprocket is just partially on the knurl. Not placing the sprockets at the correct distance from the case can make you move all the axles or sprockets to align the chains.
