Hi, I'm having some issues rebuilding the calipers for my 7000 transmission.
As far as the calipers go I remember once installing the control lever (the part that connects the steering lever into the caliper housing and determines drive or stop) in the wrong side and as a result the steering levers had to be pulled back to drive and forward to stop which I am sure is backward?
I attach a photo of a control lever as I call it. It is my assumption that this part with the pin oriented on the right side would fit the caliper housing on the left side of the transmission (the torque converter side) looking from the rear. It's been some time since I have rebuilt a Baker Hill and it sometimes worries me that my memory is lacking.
Any insight that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
