Baker Hill leaky

I pulled my non leaking 7000 out to service lube and check the pucks. Drained and refilled the trans. put back and now it drains out clutch side like there is no seal at all and looks to be seeping out other end now too. I put 1/2 qt in like a thought manual said, but now thinking I over filled it. is 1/2 qt too much? I used GL-5 non synthetic

Is it possible to damage seals doing just an R&R ?

1/2 a pint it takes not 1/2 quart like I thought , my bad . I get the FUBAR award
