  • Me too t20 issue

Looking from the back to the front of the machine the top right plunger seems to be sticking and every min driving it gets worse. Can't drive the machine more than 2-3 min then it slowly moves out and you can start all over again. It takes about 15 min to come back out. 2000 max 4 rebuilt trans with approx 30 hrs on it. I broke the axle on both sides. Finally the mechanic gets it together and calls me with this problem. Other than taking it out and bringing it back to the trans shop can anyone give me some tricks to try. We're getting ready to replace the fluid. Just to clarify when the plunger is in the band must be grabbing. I'm not a mechanic I'm just guessing. This is what seems to be happening

Pulling out on the plunger engages the band and creates the braking action necessary for the transmission to work. What is the machine doing or not doing?

Try a drop of oil on the plunger.

I believe it's pulling to the right. I'm going to the shop today to personally drive it. Yes the mechanic did spray the plunger. If they are out of adjustment would they do that?

If it is out of adjustment (travel between plungers is not equal) then it's possible that the top one is pulling out too far and cocking in the bore making it stick and keeping that side engaged. It would pull to the right under deceleration and should pull left with throttle (provided the left stick is in neutral),

It's pulling to the right and you need to keep wiggling the stick to try to loosen it up. Now I'm taking trans back to trans shop hand them money and ask them to fix it. I LOVE my 6 wheeler. Bazinga
