I've never seen a Pug. Never even heard of a Jacobsen UV4. This may be why there have been no replies here. Looks as though you my be doing a little pioneering in this area. At this point, I'd start looking it over real good and just apply some common sense acquired with experience. If it's a gearbox it must have some way into it. Fill/level plugs on side, etc. Best wishes on figuring something out. Keep us posted as to what ya find. It may help someone in a similar bind in the future.sigpic

I don't know a thing about it, but like Joe said. If it has bands like a t-20, go with atf. if it's just gears, gear oil. if it looks to have any bronze gears like the TT boxes on a coot, you will need some special gear oil that won't eat the bronzeA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
