Maybe there is neverseez in the threads, my guess is the lock washer. Don't use red as it may not come out, ever.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Neversieze? I hope not. If this bolt rattles out again I'll need to clean it out. Until then I hope it stays.
Thanks for the help and suggestions guys.

Update.... we've been on a bunch of rides, and a lot of serious miles, with this machine, and the bolt hasn't come out at all.
I make sure to put drops of oil on the new secondary, right where the spring is, so it can open/close easy enough. I lube it every ride now. No more clutch problems.

Where did you get the new bolt from? Just matched from an auto parts store? My drive clutch bolt came loose and was just rattling around and the end threads stripped and it also put a hole in my tub. I need to find a new bolt so my clutch doesn’t come flying off. I’m surprised t didn’t as I have no idea how long it’s been backed out for! Just started making a funny noise when plowing the other day...thanks!

DannyP glad you found the problem. An auto parts or farm supply store should have the bolt. Even a Lowes or Home Depot may have it.

My local ACE hardware store had them. I took the previous bolt to match up.

Perfect thanks. I assumed I could find one and matchbitbup but just wanted to make sure.
