3-speed tractor transmission.

Recently I was reading some postings ,and also looking at some of the pics posted on 6x6 world, and saw a picture of some one, who has an older Max IV, with a "tractor 3-speed transmission" installed in it. I would like to know how this has worked out in the length of time that you,ve had it installed in your Max IV. What are the postives, and what are the negatives,,if any?
