  • Transmission question for big foot

First time poster. Received a big foot for my retirement. Trying to knock some snow down along driveway and left side got hung up on snow. Wasn't touching ground but the right side was. Left would spin but right did not. Is this normal? If not what should I look for? Thanks for any help Bruce

It is normal for Argo to spin the side with no traction. You will learn to bump the brakes on the spinning side to apply power to other side. Practice make driving one a lot smoother.

Welcome to 6x6world. The trans in your Bigfoot is an Open Differential. It will inherently apply all the power to the side with the least traction. As msafi65 said, applying the brakes to the loose side will send power to the side with traction (resistance). Again, as said, it will take a little practice but you'll get the hang of it and when you do, you'll be quite impressed with this machines ability.
