Hi Everyone. I disassembled my T20 this weekend and I have some rust on the drums. I cleaned them up with 600 grit wet sandpaper and they are very smooth, but there are some small pits in the drum. I have read a few posts where they say you should have them turned another post or two that said you do not need to worry about them. What is the final answer on this?
Also, my T20 is the old popsicle style and the plungers only have one O ring. Should I upgrade these to the later style or are they not easily found?
One last thing, it appears my T20 was filled with gear oil, not ATF. I heard a lot of racers do this and it is ok and has benefits to using it - like not leaks. Can anyone confirm this? The bands look good but are soaked in gear oil. Should I use gear oil for this since that is what was used before?
Thank you!
