I have a old hustler Im redoing and insted of ripping the tranny apart what would need to be done to the tranny before running ? the machines been sitting for a long long time..just change the fluids ? is there anything to put in there to kinda clean it out ?thanks....

You don't need to rinse it out with anything. Just change the fluid. If the old fluid has lots of trash in it then you may want to tear the trans apart just to check. It doesn't take long to do this if you already have it out of the machine.

Also, make sure the surfaces around the 4 plungers are free from debree and rust.
