sounds like you put the bands in backward IE: lefts in the right and rights in the left, thus hooked from their anchor to the wrong plunger

Mirrocraft. I wouldn't drive it like it is any more, since the parts may not be clearing properly now and you could maybe do more damage? If you put the drums in backwards, or reversed the bands, it would do this. I am not sure if both are possibilities, never tried. Did you use this article?

If you match yours up to the pictures, you'll have it in no-time

6x6 is right: don't drive it like that, you'll score your drums and destroy the bands. It seems the same to me that Racer and 6x6 said- the bands are reversed.

i was hoping you'd chime in on this one Don. your way more of an expert on t-20's than me, but that's the only thing i can possibly think of

I'd hate for someone to spend all the money on parts just to ruin them in a short time. I put the bands in wrong on one of the first T20s that I ever did and it acted the same way. Lucky for me, I straightened it out before it ruined anything, but a friend of mine wasn't so lucky when it happened to him: scored drums and twisted bands with only a little run time on them.

The drums are the same (one ring gear and one that holds the planetaries on each side) but the bands are right and left. Glad you didn't ruin anything and cost yourself extra parts.

Possibly need an air pressure adjustment, little more in left or little less in right. Glad to hear your going again. If you don't get stuck, your not trying.
