Anyone out there know how to seperate the sprockets from the shafts of a HAXCO transmission? The right hand side slid right off, the left side is not treating me as nice.

I dfid get it in Washington. Poulsbo. Doesn't look like it was full of water and I don't think it could have been as the floor (fiberglass) has a hole I am patching. No signs of standing water. Plan to drain and flush the tranny and the engine was a bust so I have a new one to replace it. Should be fine. I saw it on Craigs List. Traded an older model inflatable for it.Comment

Haxco(?) Transmission Photo
Here is a picture of the transmission in my Ramco Retriever. How does a guy get the left shaft that the two drive sprockets are attached to (outside the body penetration) off so the transmission can be removed from the body?Comment

Hi, last time i saw one of those was 1976. don't they have 'C" clips and slide off?
I have asked the "god" of the manuals for help.lol

Success At Last
Got it apart. It was just stuck. A little innovative prying and drift punching and it came loose. Thanks for the support.
Now I can get busy cleaning it up, making necessary repairs and getting it all going.

Ramco Retriever is right. I am thinking that there aren't too many of these out there. Pretty simple machine, it seems. Mine is now in pieces. Cleaning and restoring to a high level now. Got any info on it?Comment
