attex st/400/r model 300 7000 tranny issue

attex st/400/r is awsum and only needs pucks,tranny is great,thank's or the help telling me about the pucks

Hello

If you Look at the calipers, you will see an adjusting screw with a jam nut. You need to adjust the inside one on that side for the drive. The outside one is the brakes. There are round brake pucks in there. Screw in for tighten. Hopefully there is enough life on them. When they wear enought he caliper will rub the rotors.

Those pucks have been made using a hole saw and old brake material, or there are some on ebay right know too. Hope I get a percentage for advertising for him. Just joking, dont know him. As for making them I have been wanting too but havent yet so cant realy help first hand.

I thought that model came with a 6000 series without the reverse. Must be someone changed yours out.

i have one i'm thinking about selling,i dont know what its worth,it was only used about 1 year,then its been in a storage shed for 20 years, st/400/r model 300 with the 7000 tranny,and a windshield,interior and exterior about like new still,its got one little markon front corner,evin the seats are like new,everything lubed up good,the 400 engine still runs like new,bearings are tight,very nice machine,evin the breaks work like new,i just got this thing,i tried it out yesterday,everything worked good,but the left stear lever didnt seam to propell it that good to stear,right side was stong,i dont know much about these things,except i just bought it,and have no idea its value,or evin what the (r) stands for?i'm in wisconsin,let me know what you think
