scrambler 70s something
I recently got my first 6x6 and am in the process of getting it running.I took the drive belt off the clutch to get engine running.Now that the engine is running,the clutch is stuck with the split pulley closed together.I haven't put the belt back on.I don't want to beat the snot out of it to try and free up,I squirt penetrating oil inside clutch ,and decided to ask someone that knew more about these than I do which ain't much.Any help would be appreciated.

in a clutch.,
i would spray white lithium grease on the outer most sliding part of the clutch, then CAREFULLY, evenly pry the clutch back into place, be careful!!, it will "SNAP" back... in to the open position.
did you get a new belt?
i have the napa part number in the barn.
it is a 6013, If it is a 8 hp model briggs, axle seal numbers are skf 11614
