  • Max II T-20 help with pic!

OK here is my current issue.
when pulling back on the right stick, through the whole range of motion it is smooth, no herky/jerky.
Pull the left side it seems to want all or nothing any in between and it does the herky-jerk with a occasional "pop" noise(chain??)
the pic is taken from the front looking back.
Notice the plunger difference.. is this right, does it matter and if not how do I fix it.
Thanks everyone for all the help so far, from searching this site and posting my machine now runs and drives.
Sorry about that, forgot to add pic,
    lets try that agian
The sticks are being pulled back in the pic, when sticks are at restthe is a "plunger" difference, if that makes since...

The reason I ask is it pulls to the right.
    Adjusted tire pressure, no difference.
After I get the replace the carb and make sure the engine runs well, I'm going to strip it down to the frame, replacing bearings/brass bushing.
BTY if you already did not know Buffalo bearing sells the brass bushing $3.??
each, by far the cheapest I could find, got the cast kind not the oil kind becouse of the stress load, correct??

the jerk is not the plungers . it your bottom tranny bolts. they have losed up . take them out and RED locktite them in. mine got so the stud would come out tinsted of the nut coming off . locktited them in let set for a copel days and you should not have a problem . i did have to tap mine out to a 7/16 but have not has a problem scence robbie

Check circumferance - Out side diameter of your tires! You may have to have more air presure in some of them, so all the tires are the same OD! As this affects pulling to one side.

Is that more for the old "balloon" tires?
Mine are rawhide, somethings, tire pressure was WAY off
you could see the difference ...
Now with the pressure all the same and no difference, I'm thinking something else, I'm going to measure just to make sure.

For all tires! This is something we all should check when buying new AATV tires. As OD varies on them! We pull garden tractor's and when buying new tires we make sure we get 2 with same diameter with same amount air pressure! As we have seen them vary a 1/4" or more.
