Stopped in to Autozone to pick up some of the GM posi additive I've seen recommended for the T-20, and on the bottle of the GM equivalent product it said specifically not to use it with ATF. Do you think that was just to prevent people from putting it in their auto trannys or because of some incompatibility with ATF? Do I even need the additive? I've seen some use it and some don't, some use type F fluid, some use Dexron III, now Dexron VI? I picked up some Dexron VI.

Thanks, I'll try the Dexron straight first and see how it feels.

The additive works great in the T-20. Smooths it out real nice and 99% of band chatter is gone. I use Type F fluid with the additive. It's not incapatible with any ATF, but you can't use it in a car transmission becuase it will make an auto tranny slip and cause damage.Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.
