  • Baker Hill clutch?

    The belt that came on my Baker-Hill is way to big it doesn't sit in the sheaves of the sec. clutch with this setup causes a dilemma, being that my control rods for my calipers are just under it. So I have 2 questions, 1 what is the actual belt width suppose to be? Seems like 7/8". 2. Will the secondary clutch off a T-20 work on the Baker-Hill provided the O.D. is the same? Thanks again any input would be greatly appreciated! P.S. What is the actual primary clutch that came in the st 300d I'm putting in a Kohler K-309! Thanks again Brian.

    Hey, Brian;

    I'm going strictly from memory, but I think the belt on the ST300D is an inch wide. The clutch on a T20 is for a 7/8" shaft and the B/H transmissions (at least the 6000) have a one inch shaft. You can find wider clutches to fit the 6000 transmission (McKay pics) but I'm not sure about the 5000 and 7000.

        Hi Brian, you have a belt for the Baker Hill on the way, along with some NOS brake pucks.
