gearbox oil

Hi fellow 6 x 6 owners
Can any one help me I need to know how to change the oil in my old argo,s gear box and what type of oil does it take. thanks

There is a drain plug on the back of the transmission(side facing engine). It is hard to see without a mirror, but you can feel it by hand. There is a vented dipstick that screws out of the top of the transmission. Fill it up to the line on the dipstick. I use SAE 80w-85w-90 gear oil.

yeah,im restoring mine,little 340 yamaha is out.anyways dont see no drain plug.i will drill a hole and tap pipe threads in it.that will do the trick.looking for a bigger engine while i restore this beast.
