how do i remove the idler shaft out of my 1997 argo vanguard 2

Pull all the bolts out of the bearing retainers on both ends, loosen the brg set screw on the outer bearing. Slide the shaft inward.. the inner bearing will let the shaft slide inward. Then you have the outer end free to lift out.
