  • newbie needin' T20 help

howdy all, this is my first time on here, and wonder if you could offer some help to a probie. i just bought a max IV and am having to re-build my tranny this winter. it's a '95 with the t-20 tranny. i was wondering if someone can fill me in on all the parts i need to order (not the drums i hope) to do a complete re-build. all help is appreciated.
    thanks

i would call recreative 1-800-255-2511. they are the only source for the bearings (anyone else selling them is buying from Recreative and marking them up). you will need bands, bearings and a seal kit (i think the seal kit includes plunger and shifter o-rings). you also want to check the condition of your shift pins. if they are at all worn go ahead and throw a new set in. also if your plungers are the single o-ring type, you might want to upgrade them to dual o-ring.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
