As far as I know, RC is the only one relining T20 bands. His rebuilts are cheaper than new from Recreatives, but from what I've heard some people have had problems with them. I've done quite a few transmissions with his relined units and so far never had a problem. Your choices for parts are very limited when you're dealing with the T20.

I just had my bands relined by Alabama Bands. They charged like 35 bucks a piece and they seem to be working fine.

can you post some contact info for the place that did your bands? did you have to provide them with a material thickness for the reline, or were they able to look it up through borg warner?? keep us posted on how they hold up

Think this might be who he used.
Transmission Bands from Alabama Bands, Inc.
I sent an e-mail to them to check prices, and turn around time. I will post info if I get a reply.

i did not specify a thickness, but im sure you could. The website that cj-ate posted is them. They do all their business over the phone though.

$30 bucks sounds like a good deal. I'm sure alot of people would be interested in finding out what they say, I know I would.

Just talked to Lanita at Alabama Bands. She checked for pricing for me and came up with $25 per band plus the shipping charges. She said that they call our T-20 bands "rap around ATV bands" and have been doing them for years. They usually just ship them back UPS COD. It seems that they deal with large accounts that they just bill, and do not have any way to take credit cards or checks from individuals. Lanita suggested that I call the owner Jimmy on Monday for more information. I will post the info from him ASAP.

I just sent them a personal check, and they were fine with that.

That is great news. That seems like a very reasonable price to me.

I just talked to Alabama Bands and I guess I was quoted the old price of $25. The new price is $35 per band plus shipping. Still seems to be a great deal to me. They said to just box up the bands and ship them. Be sure to put a note INSIDE the box as to what transmission, year, service to be performed, return address, and phone number. They estimate about a week turn around time. I was told they have the specs on the thickness, and type of material to use. The price includes removing the old material, cleaning the bands, and re-bonding the new material (this requires heat and clamping the bands on the correct diameter drum).
