I have taken my driven cluch apart on my max 4 to put in new red spring. My question is do I need to wind the spring up when I put it in so that it rides on the ramps. If so how many turns or how far. Thanks truckndiesl

Ok thanks Robbie I was wondering cause when I first put it together the slides were in middle and not agginst the ramps. So I twisted the spring to where it is aginst the ramps. So I am just going to try it there if it don't work I will just pull it back apart and learn some more.Comment

i mite have to do that if its not right. i should of paid more attn when i took it apart. i wonder how the clutch would shift if the slides where aginst the steep side of the ramp. would it up shift really fast or not at all.Comment

thanks for the video george. i got the max all back together started it up and ran the engine ran good and the clutch worked so i am going to try it out in the morning and see how it works. i think my biggest power lose was the whole motor was pushed forward and the feet on the stand were bent. the carb cable was miss adjusted but now its geting wotComment
