I bought two T-20 plunger adjustment tools from Richard Clark. I slid an ajustment tool between the bolt head and the U channel clip on either end of the U channel. I then adjusted each plunger bolt until the plungers in the bores looked about equal on either end. I repeated this same process to adjust both plungers on the opposite side of the T-20 case. After adjusting the plungers on each end , and on either side, it now seems to me that the goal is to make all the plungers equal in the plunger bores?

i've never used them, but i believe the instructions are to insert the tools on one c-channel, then torque the plunger bolts to 5 INCH pounds, then 10, then 15, then 20. then move the tools to the other c channel and repeat. how far the plungers protrude from the case won't always be equal because of slight differences in band and drum sizes (mfg tollerances)A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I,m glad you mentioned this. After adjusting the plungers on each end on one side of the U channel,,I never could get the plungers on both sides of the T-20 to look equally the same. How can you get a socket of a torque wrench to fit between the bolt head and U channel clip to torgue the plunger bolts to 15 inch pounds? It,s such a tight fit in this area that I thought I might have to grind both sides of a 9 1/16 wrench to be able to get the plunger bolts any tighter.
