I'm wondering what would cause a pulse on one of the sticks with the (engine running) in neutral. This is on my Max IV and I'm planning on pulling the T-20 and going through it anyhow just looking for some advice as to what to look for. I'm thinking a diamond shifter is dragging on the the shift groove. I know I have some homemade easy shift mod and possibly one side is pushing on the shifter.

It almost sounds like worn drum bearings. If the drum could wobble it would move the bands and therefore the plungers, vibrating the lateral stick. If the input shaft bent I guess it could too but I can't see how that could happen. Keep us posted, hope it's a simple/cheap fix.Attex 295 Wild Wolf: sigpic My Runner

Big 5 has a pulse on one lateral, too. My pulse is only when it's moving (it seems), but I'll have to check to see if it's still there in neutral. I figured it must be a worn drum bushing, too. I don't think I've ever had that transmission apart.....
