Just a thought transmission fluid i.e. (hydraulic fluid) is flamable. So you might wont to get a pump that is designed for flamable liquids. A regular electrical pump can build up static charge and could ignite you transmission fluid. Just a thought.

the flash point is very high; it won't ignite if you throw a match in it but burn nicely in my VW jetta TDI (compression ignition diesel engine)
