  • New Rider needs info?

I am new to the Max II and I have a concern. I have a hard time getting into forward more than reverse but it seems to grind even at Idle/stop when trying to shift. I know this is normal to a certain degree but is there any adjustment to lessen this or is there something I am doing wrong? I love my Maxx and do not want to damage it! Please help.....

Make sure your engine idle speed isnt set too high first of all. Second, make sure both steering levers (laterals) are pulled all the way back when shifting into forward, and that both levers are forward when shifting into reverse. Try that and let us know what happens.

Also grease the pivot points and all of the shifting linkage from the selector all the way to the T-20. I would pull the diamond shifters out of the T-20 and grease them up with Vasolene.

      And try everything JP recommended.
