i was origanally going to use double acting for steering as well and still might,that way i will be able to push faward.i can then use external springs conected to a lever so i could engage or disengage,and adjust spring tention.i was aware or the force differances in the double acting cylinders as well as negative pressure......checkout this link.(WO/2006/096065) SYSTEM FOR SHIFTING GEAR WITH DOUBLE-ACTING CYLINDERS
