  • T20 drum repair

    Here are some pics of the ring drum I had repaired. Unfortunately the pics of what it looked like before the repair didn't turn out. The drum was badly grooved more than 80% was either scared bad or grooved. I had the machine shop turn it down then weld a steel sleeve in place then turn it down again to the final dimension.

    The machine shop that did the work for me at a good price of $125 and had it finished the next day,

      Wow thats a pretty good price on fixing up the drums. Let us know how the t-20 works when you put it back in.
      l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

        OK I will I'm just waiting on my bands to get back from transmission crafters and my bearing and seal kit to get here from realatv. I should have all the items back this week and reassembled and installed by next weekend

          OK the verdict is in the drum works like a champ steering is great. However now that i was able to drive it for more than a few minutes found out the motor is crap!! Luckily I was able to find a brand new 16hp for 299.95 free shipping and yes it is horizontal mount. It arrives Friday so guess I will be installing that this weekend.

            Glad to at least hear that the T20 is operating as it should. That sounds like a good deal on the motor.
