Easier T20 band adjustment

t20 a.jpg This is for the later U channel style. Always thought it was difficult trying to pull out the adjusting bolt and turn with a pair of needle nose pliers as the retaining clip behind the bolt head would always hang up on the threads meaning you had to push it back pull on bolt and turn. I reused the U shaped retaining clip and welded a large wing on one side. Then I cut out the bottom of the bolt hole allowing the retaining clip to be lifted straight up and out of the way. A small hole was drilled in the added wing to allow the spring clip that goes through the U channel to hold it in place after reinstalling. Last was to cut a slot into the bolt heads so that I can use a screw driver to make adjustments. Make sure you cut the slot from corner to corner in the head so there is no chance of the slot aligning up with the spring clip. Adjustment made easy.
