What you are referring to is counter rotation, several machines with T-20 transmissions are set up for counter rotation, some at the factory. If your machine has been modified or is set up for counter rotation or spinning the wheels in opposite directions you can use this feature almost anywhere but be careful not to try it in very thick or heavy mud. Try a loose soil area at first to get the feel for how it works. MudBug posted a video of a MaxII counter rotating in thick mud, it works, just don't over do it.

Pivot steering puts allot of stress on the T-20 mount, I would not consider doing that unless you have the T20 securely mounted to the frame. Mounted top and bottom.
