What kind of trans oil should I use?

Hey guys, I have recently been going through my newly acquired 1970/71? max II not positive of the year but thats what I was told, it has a jlo rockwell 292 motor. I think it has the t20 skidsteer trans, I'm assuming so and it looks to be the stock factory trans. anyways I figure I should change the oil before I really start having fun with it this season. What oil is recommended I use? also does anyone have any other tips or tricks I should know before doing this?. thanks for the help!
