  • Max IV driven clutch

Sometime last winter while plowing snow, the snap ring let loose on my driven clutch. It tore up the spider. I had another unit on the shelf. I had both disassembled and the spider from my machine was labled at 35 degrees. The one from the shelf was labled 32 degrees. I changed over the spring to the original green spring from the Max IV.

Does anyone know what differences I should expect going fro ma 35 degree ramp to a 32 degree ramp?

I believe it will just up shift a fuzz quicker. I would think less angle on the cam will allow outside forces(torque requirements) to have more influence on it causing the sheaves to begin to open sooner?
