How can I Test the T20 on a bench?

I just got done rebuilding my T20 , but want to make sure everything is right before I put it back in my MaxII, I followed the help to, but the sun gear was, kind of a pain.
I put it in foward and turn the shaft and both gears turn but I can hold them and make them slip, I guess this is because there is not enough pressure on the reverse bands?
I put it in reverse and the grears dont turn at all, again I guess because no pressure on the forward bands
Any thoughts?

You have to pull the plungers out top or bottom depending on which way you are testing (foward/reverse). But yes the gears should spin and you should not be able to old them in place while tuning the input if your plungers are adjusted properly.
