open roller style primary clutch

Has anybody used one of these? Or similar style? 1 1/8 inch straight shaft clutch
It seems that most snowmobiles have gone to this open style....I wonder if it is a horsepower thing.
Just looking for input here, advantages and drawbacks before I buy one for the big Kohler.

it look exactly like a generic Polaris P85 or P90 clutch cut for straight crankshaft.

Polaris use this on ATV and sleds with great success

just make sure they sell it preset with the weights and springs for your application.
