T-20 questions

OK...I'm trying to figure out if the trans is working correctly, having zero experience with these transmissions...it's an early model T-20, when the machine is running you do not have to touch the control levers to make it go, shift it into forward and just apply throttle and it moves...to turn or stop you pull back on the sticks...when you put it into reverse it won't move unless you pull the contol levers back....then it moves...does that sound right?

As long as your sticks have springs keeping them forward, it sounds like its working. FYI you do not need the springs on the sticks it is a preference some have but others hate

it does have return springs in both sticks...so I'm good....thank god...lol
